Wilderness Lake Preserve CDD held its regular monthly business meeting on Wed., Aug. 3, 2016.
Here are some highlights from the District’s August meeting:
Pavers and Entrance Repairs ~ A contract was signed to repair seven discreet areas at the entrance to WLP. The Board was informed that these fixes will affect traffic going into and out of Hwy. 41/Land O’ Lakes Blvd. If you want to give input about the paver issue, please come to our next meeting or talk to Board liaison Jim Estel. You also can contact him by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Playground Update ~ The Lodge playground has been finished and Pasco County has conducted its final inspection. A “Re-Grand Opening” event is scheduled. We hope future generations of WLP children will enjoy the space and benefit from this wonderful structure.
Budget for 2016 – 2017 Passed ~ The Board approved the budget and imposed assessments for 2016 – 2017. Thanks to all the staff, managers and Supervisors who contributed to the final product. Their hard work paid off in a budget that pays this year’s regular operations and maintenance expenses; it funds the capital reserves and does NOT raise assessments. Pasco County will be sending out TRIM notices shortly.
Management Agreements ~ The Board is going over details of the three management contracts WLP has with Rizzetta. There are some additional terms being finalized. These agreements are important to our community, so the Board expects to deal with these contracts at the September meeting.
You can find more information about the August meeting from the Board’s draft Minutes. Those Minutes will be posted inside September’s Agenda. Our next Board meeting is set for the morning of Wednesday, September 7, 2016, and will start at 9:30 a.m.
