CDD Meeting Highlights

Beth Edwards and Scott Diver took the Oath of Office and were sworn in for their four year term as WLP CDD Board Supervisors.
As WLP will be transitioning to a new landscaping company February 1st, an inspection of our property was conducted to assess current conditions. As well as, identifying areas that may need additional attention. The inspection was carried out by: Tom Picciano w/PSA, Tish Dobson – Lodge Manager, Joe Cermak w/Sunrise Landcare, and David Lucadano w/Redtree Landscape Systems.
Risk assessments of the WLP CDD assets were performed. From the assessments, improvement recommendations may be implemented and will be discussed at the February 6th CDD meeting.
The mobile radar sign on the boulevard collects speed data. This month, 1,066 cars were clocked between 26 & 35 MPH. 56 cars were clocked between 36 & 45 mph. Speeding is an issue and a concern. The Lodge Manager & the Chair will present to the Board at February’s CDD meeting, recommendations to try to reduce speeding.
The Board discussed Lodge Staffing for the upcoming year. Discussions will continue at the February CDD meeting.
Resident feedback regarding the New Year Celebration party was very positive. Thanks to the Staff for making it a great success.
The next CDD meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 6th at 6:30PM, in the Activities Center.
