CDD Meeting Highlights

The Board of Supervisors discussed and approved the proposed budget for Fiscal year 2019-2020. The Public Hearing on the Final Budget is set for 6:30pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, in the Activities Center.
RedTree representatives, Pete and David Lucadano were present and updated the Board on the status of the community landscape. The Board requested revised proposals and authorized the District Manager to approve them upon review. The District Manager reported that RedTree received a passing score on the April Landscape Inspection.
The Lodge Manager presented the WISE Grant proposals, per the direction of Supervisor Weissing. After discussion, the Board directed Vice-Chairman Weissing to begin drafting the grant.
The District Engineer’s report included an update regarding the embankment remediation on Pond 41. Dragon Fly, the contracted remediation vendor, made a few additional repairs to the embankment and will continue to monitor the pond for any further erosion issues.
The Board concluded the meeting with a brief discussion regarding an investment presentation that may take place during the July CDD meeting.
The next CDD meeting is Wed., June 5th, at 9:30am, in the Activities Center.
