CDD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
October 3, 2018
The Board received an update regarding the CDD-HOA shared irrigation areas, along with the request from Nature’s Ridge to tie into the CDD system by their gate. The District Attorney has reviewed the situation, and has stated that there are no legal impediments to the HOA and CDD continuing the existing arrangement and allowing Nature’s Ridge to complete their landscape project and tie into the CDD system. The HOA had passed a motion approving this at their September meeting, and the CDD gave final approval at their October meeting. The District Attorney will prepare the agreement that will be signed by both the CDD and HOA.
The Board again expressed frustration with the performance of the landscape maintenance company, though it was noted that there had been some improvement since the last inspection. The process for obtaining landscape maintenance bids was reviewed, along with the weighted ranking scale that the District has utilized in the past. It is expected that the contract will be placed out for bid by the end of the year.
The Board approved the replacement of two Recumbent Cycles in the Fitness Center. The Board also approved painting and re-upholstery of the Activities Center barstools.
The next CDD meeting is November 7th, at 6:30 PM, in the Activities Center.
Resident input is always welcome … we hope to see you there!
